I specialise in creating warm, heartfelt ceremonies for weddings, elopements, vow renewals, and special celebrations across the High Country and North East Victoria.

About Me
Hi. My name is Lorelei... but I like to be called Loz. After 28 years of living in Rockhampton my husband and I made the move to Bright in North East Victoria where we have been lucky enough to call it home for over 13 years. I love everything about Bright and the surrounding districts as it has so much to offer - spectacular scenery, four seasons especially beautiful in autumn, and many wineries, cafés and restaurants. After having worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years I felt it was time for something new and, as fate would have it, becoming a celebrant fell in to my lap. My daughter, who was planning her second marriage, phoned me one day and said that she wanted a simple wedding ceremony in Bright. After everything she had been through I suggested that I would love to be the celebrant to marry her.... something that she thought was a wonderful idea... and the rest is history. Now, instead of holding people's hands at possibly one of the worst times of their lives, I now hold them through the best times. There are a lot of similarities in the roles of nurse and celebrant - you and your needs take priority and my passion for helping people remains a constant.

I provide a professional service to help you create your uniquely, personalised ceremony whether it is a 'Legal Only'service or a full wedding ceremony.
The choice of celebrant should be based on whether the celebrant “is the right fit for you”, one that will listen and be there for you giving a guiding hand where needed. I offer value for service, with respect and the focus on your wishes, it’s your day!
LEGALS ONLY $400
This option is often chosen by couples that want a simple ceremony with only the two witnesses present.
No obligation first meeting (Notice of Intended Marriage /NOIM can be completed at this time if you wish to proceed with my services)
Meeting to lodge NOIM (if not done so at first meeting)-must be lodged with the celebrant no later than one month/30 days prior to the ceremony or no longer than 18 months
Legal only ceremony (no personalised ceremony)
Paperwork completed and sent to BDM
Commemorative Commonwealth Marriage Certificate (the one you will sign on the day)
SHORT BUT SWEET $500
This option is for you if you're thinking about eloping. You get to pick your location and have up to 10 guests.
No obligation first meeting (Notice of Intended Marriage /NOIM can be completed at this time if you wish to proceed with my services)
Meeting to lodge NOIM (if not done so at first meeting)-must be lodged with the celebrant no later than one month/30 days prior to the ceremony or no longer than 18 months

FULL CEREMONY from $650.00
This option provides for the full choice of ceremony format with a personalised service, written just for you.
No obligation first meeting with information pack

TRAVEL
There are no additional travel charges if your wedding is held in the Alpine Shire. If I’m required outside of these boundaries an additional fee may apply.
